Because neck tattoos and well-publicized rap sheets are just what every company looks for in a spokesmodel, Chris Brown has just been added to the “exclusive talent roster” at Wilhelmina Models‘s Artist Management division.
According to a report in WWD, his agent will seek fashion and beauty endorsements and licenses for the singer, though with whom exactly remains to be seen. Some of Wilhelmina’s current clients include Fergie, Keri Hilson, and Australian DJ twins Nervo, who just landed themselves a CoverGirl contract.
Something tells us Brown will have to aim for something slightly lower, though the director of the agency’s Men’s division contends that their newest addition is a “multifaceted artist with a unique take on style, and we are excited to translate and extend his brand.”
Brown himself is also optimistic about the deal: “Art and style has always played a significant role in my life — it’s evolved with me throughout my career.”
