Winona Ryder’s somber style will always hold a place near and dear to our hearts. Who cares if the weather is warming up? This is a woman whose penchant for black knows no season, and we love her for it. Last night, she hit the town in NYC for the opening night of Orphans on Broadway with another red carpet favorite of ours, Dakota Fanning, looking like the coolest girls on the block in spiffy, menswear-inspired ensembles.
Ryder layered up in a collared shirt, crewneck sweater, grey Nonoo blazer, and Veronica Beard Scuba leggings, paired with chic-yet-restrained pointy-toed heels, Gilan earrings, and a vintage-style, top-handle handbag. Fanning, meanwhile, opted for a laid-back jumpsuit dressed up with a blazer and towering black booties. We love how perfectly in tune the two actresses looked with one another, especially considering the 20-year age gap and the dichotomous uptown/downtown sensibilities of the two looks. Well played all around!
this is some kind of spaceship or something.
