One of our favorite things about the newly-redesigned Harper’s Bazaar is the “My List” section, in which designers chronicle their jam-packed and ever-fabulous days. So far we’ve learned about Tom Ford’s prodigious bath-taking, Karl Lagerfeld’s favorite nightshirts, and Donatella Versace‘s endless supply of leather pants…but the best part is learning about their pets! Versace, for one, loves her Jack Russell terrier:
I think having an animal is a wonderful thing, particularly dogs. They are great levelers, there’s no nonsense with them, and they just want simple affection.
The June/July issue brings us into the world of Emilio Pucci’s Peter Dundas – a world that apparently contains 25 taxidermied animals and a chocolate lab named Hannibal. Dundas isn’t alone in his affection for animals, though. It seems like every big name designer has a canine friend (or five, in the case of Valentino).
