How did you celebrate National Sibling Day yesterday? By giving your brother or sister a call? Taking them out for a drink? Inundating people’s Facebook feeds with adorable photos of you as kids? Whatever it was, it had nothing on Martha Wainwright’s very personal tribute to her brother Rufus at the ELLE “Women In Music” event last night. And you should be thankful for that.
The songstress hit the red carpet in a t-shirt proclaiming “Rufus Is A Tit Man”, which we’re sure earned her some stares from her fellow partygoers, but simmer down, folks; it’s actually the name of one of her dad Loudon’s songs from the ’70s, written when his son was breastfeeding.
Other guests made style statements too, although none quite as provocative as Wainwright. Our favorite of the evening was Rita Ora, who channeled Anita Pallenberg in a head-to-toe look from Hedi Slimane’s debut Saint Laurent collection, before changing into a gilded Chloé number to hit the stage. This is probably the only time we’ll get to say this, but she could probably teach Angelina Jolie a thing or two.

this is some kind of spaceship or something.
