A 30-year-old model named Eric Zentner was killed when a car hit him just outside of Santa Barbara, Calif. this weekend. Investigators say they’re still looking for the driver that hit him, who sped away from the scene of the crime before police arrived.
Zentner, who modeled for Versace, appeared in Vogue and even danced in Katy Perry‘s music video for Hot ‘N Cold, was on the way to visit his mother in Gold River, a town outside of Sacramento. He ran out of gas along the way and stepped out of his car around 3:45 a.m. Saturday. The police think he tried to cross the road at some point, which is when the other driver hit him and fled.
The California Highway Patrol believes the driver who hit Zentner was driving a light blue Dodge Caravan from the 1990s and is looking for cars that fit that description — especially those that have undergone damage. If you or anyone you know has information about this incident, you’re encouraged to contact them. A few samples of Zentner’s work, below.
this is some kind of spaceship or something.
