Tavi Gevinson, Karlie Kloss, Elle Fanning — we’ve entered an age in which some of fashion’s biggest “It” kids are teenagers. Which is why V Magazine‘s “Youth Quake” issue, set to hit newsstands July 5, is perfectly on trend. Included in the issue is a fashion spread called “School Daze,” featuring students at Woodrow Wilson High School in Washington, D.C., dressed in some of fall’s most exaggerated shapes. The avant-garde pieces range from Jil Sander to Ports 1961, set against the backdrop of hallways, blacktops, and fields. These kids are just too cool for school.
