Unless this model is actually an alien and doesn’t have a belly button, she’s the latest victim of Photoshop gone wrong. Sigh, when will art directors learn?
Gilt is holding a Free People flash sale today, and one of our eagle-eyed staffers tipped us off about the curious case of the missing belly button on the girl modeling the Bonnaroo Swit Top. True to its name, the top in question is perfect for music festivals — the printed top-half covers the, ahem, girls while the crocheted bottom-half acts as perfect ventilation in the stifling Tennessee heat. It also lets everyone peek at your belly button, but in this case, the model’s stomach bares nothing of the sort.
Even when we zoomed in on the model’s stomach, her belly button was nowhere to be found. What’s up with that, Gilt? Take a look at the screencaps of the model below, and tell us what you think: did the art team at Gilt Photoshop her belly button, or is it somehow hidden underneath that sheer fabric?

this is some kind of spaceship or something.
