The Golden Globes: When Risk-Taking Does and Doesn’t Pay Off

While the rest of our team’s churning out knee-slapper after witticism on the live blog, we’re enjoying a nutritious dinner of Cheddar Bunnies (they’re organic) and doing what we do best: looking at pictures and writing about them.

The 2014 Golden Globes red carpet was moderately exciting as far as these things go, with an alarming amount of mullet dresses, Christmas colors and freshly shorn hair. There were also a few daring souls who flouted the jewel tone/sparkly/strapless law, so we shall reward them by acknowledging their efforts ripping some of them to shreds and calmly discussing the effectiveness of their choices.
