Attention: Angelina Jolie is such an inspiring acceptance-speech-giver, not-embarrassing mom and putter-of-things-in-perspective that what she wore Saturday to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ 5th Annual Governors Awards almost — almost! — doesn’t matter. However, the spangly Atelier Versace she did have on her humanitarian-work-doing, children-raising body only amplified her extreme classiness and serenity, and simultaneously made us more susceptible to those damn onion-cutting ninjas that snuck up behind us and apparently Brad.
Perhaps to see if some of Angie’s poise and star power would rub off on them, both red-carpet heavy-hitter Lupita Nyong’o and Blue Is the Warmest Color actress Adele Exarchopoulos also chose black, in Prabal Gurung and Dior, respectively. On the brighter side, Naomie Harris and Léa Seydoux dazzled in embellished Burbery Prorsum and Prada whites.
Besides that renegade Raquel Welch, who else didn’t play by the rules? Find out below:
this is some kind of spaceship or something.
