Gucci Goes Green With New Eco-Friendly Shoe Collection

Gucci is launching a line of bio-degradable plastic shoes for ladies and gents called Sustainable Soles.

To show her support for the Copenhagen Fashion Summit, creative director Frida Giannini designed ballerina flats for women, and both hi-top and low-top sneakers for men. The Marola Green ballerinas feature summer-y cutouts and the brand’s double “G” design, while the California Green men’s sneakers feature bio-rubber soles.

You can get your hands on these babies at the end of June at Gucci’s flagship stores and online.
