SATC Gets Photoshopped For Japan’s Bazaar

Looks like Harper’s Bazaar is getting its sex on for their June 2010 issue.

We’ve been continuously creeped out by the photoshop tendencies of the movie’s posters and now the Japan’s June 2010 issue of Harper’s Bazaar is following suit.

The four ladies look like statues in Madame Tussauds wax museum. And we’d bet a lot of nonexistent dollars that they weren’t even photographed together, let alone specifically for the magazine. It looks as though Japan’s Bazaar told an intern to cobble together four separate stock images of the ladies and called it a day.

Miranda looks like a Stepford wife, Carrie looks like she’s about to get a root canal, Charlotte looks like her facial muscles are strained, and Samantha looks, well…constipated.

And isn’t Sex And The City supposed to be a fashionable movie? What are these girls wearing? Carrie in a red, ruffled, strapless chiffon dress? Charlotte in some sort of gray cotton frock? If this cover is any indication of the styling of these women in the film, we’ll have to hope the plot keeps us interested.
