Just when we didn’t think it was possible to love Heidi Klum more than we already did, the Victoria’s Secret model and mother of four goes and tells Tatler magazine that she’s totally cool being naked around her family.
According to the Daily Mail, Klum told Tatler:
‘I think it’s because I grew up in a very easy-going family where my parents were always naked. My parents are still naked. I mean, it’s not like we’re hippies and we run around naked, but if they happened to be in their room changing or something or someone comes out of the shower, they’re not, like, “Oh my God. No. Close the door.”’
This isn’t the first time Klum has revealed her laissez-faire attitude towards nudity. StyleList points out that she shared a similar tidbit with InStyle back in February. She said:
“If I go to the bathroom and my kid walks in, I’m not going to be like, ‘Oh my God! Close the door!’” — what is it with that bathroom door? — “They see their parents naked all the time. We are not ashamed.”
It’s easy to joke that we’d all be naked and happy if we looked like Heidi Klum (or Seal!), but there’s something to be said for her healthy attitude towards nudity and her body. If her kids can learn from her lead and grow up equally comfortable, we say: a pair of boobies never killed anyone.
