Jumpsuits are tricky to pull off because of their very nature, but Kristen Bell definitely got it right at last night’s premiere of Hit and Run in Los Angeles. Her wide-legged Jenny Packham onesie didn’t make her look look frumpy and, more importantly, there was no camel toe. What a winner.
At first we thought that Bell was wearing a satin top tucked into black trousers, but it’s indeed a one-piece. The jumpsuit’s relaxed silhouette was modern and luxe, and the different textures made the ensemble interesting despite its monochromatic color. Bell also somehow managed to look much taller than her five-foot-one frame — this jumpsuit worked miracles last night.
Maggie Gyllenhaal recently stepped out looking great in a loose jumpsuit, which makes us think we might have to rethink our views on this item.
On the other hand, Joy Bryant poured herself into a second-skin leopard mini dress. She ditched the accessories save for a basic pair of black pumps, and played up her face with a bold red pout. We normally like our animal prints in small doses, but Bryant is totally owning the look.

this is some kind of spaceship or something.
