Dressing for the red carpet in the winter can be problematic (so long, dreamy dresses and cute skirts), but not impossible. Case in point: at the New York City premiere of Hitchcock, stars like Helen Mirren, Jessica Biel, and more managed to make some serious sartorial statements despite the chilly temps.
Dame Mirren wore opaque tights underneath her black and gold Dolce & Gabbana dress and accessorized with matching earrings and peep toes. The new Mrs. Timberlake opted for a silver long-sleeved Oscar de la Renta top and matching bottoms from the designer’s spring collection, while China Chow looked cozy in a black and white checked coat. Unfortunately, Scarlett Johansson’s strapless Rodarte mini and ankle booties looked a little out of season, but we dig the structured bustier.

this is some kind of spaceship or something.
