The latest House of Style episode goes behind the fight scenes of the new Iggy Azalea and Rita Ora video “Black Widow.” We learned they both wore skin-tight jumpsuits so they’d look like they were from the same Kung Fu training school, and that now their moms are friends in real life.
You’ll meet Iggy’s costume designer Marco Marco, who helps Rita Ora at the fitting. According to Iggy’s stylist, Alejandra Hernandez, he’s the one who makes Iggy look “the bomb,” a term we haven’t heard in minute. To ensure the jumpsuit was also the bomb diggity for combat, Ora throws some punches and kicks in it, applying her creative visualization method when she tells the air, “you are a bitch.”
But the video’s theme is best described by T.I., who plays the Grand Hustle CEO:
“It’s gon’ be an extremely extravagant, meticulous video of, I think, Samurai swords, you know, ninjas, and flying women here and there.”
