Isaac Mizrahi is one of the fashion industry’s many big theatrical personalities, and this month, the designer is putting this flair for the dramatic on stage in New York City.
WWD reports that Mizrahi‘s cabaret show, called “Ask Isaac”, debuted last Thursday at the West Bank Café. He sang “C’est Si Bon” and “I Believe in You”, among others, and riffed with the crowd on pharmaceuticals, physical therapy, and tying the knot with his longtime partner, Arnold Germer. “I wanted to fit into a demographic,” he said, explaining why he eventually married despite never considering it previously.
Pique your interest, New Yorkers? Mizrahi will be performing two more shows on January 24 and 25, so snap up some tickets and tell us if you think he’s found himself a great new gig.
