WATCH: Isla Fisher Talks Gatsby And The ‘Baz-ified’ Premiere On Fallon

Carey Mulligan may have snagged the cover of Vogue, but she’s not the only Gatsby girl in town. Aussie actress Isla Fisher plays Myrtle in Baz Luhrmann’s cinematic extravaganza, and yesterday she hopped on the promotional wagon with a stop by the set of Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.

Fisher sported a pretty, red lace dress, although our eyes were more fixated on her cascading mane of copper locks. In her charming accent, she recounted Wednesday’s glamorous world premiere, which from the sounds of things was quite the soirée:

“It had been Baz-ified. It was larger than life; they had this enormous red carpet; at the after party at the Plaza they recreated a speakeasy with flapper girls and champagne and the music was kind of jazzy — and also rap, weirdly enough.”

Hm, we get the feeling Jay-Z and Jay Gatsby joined forces on this one.
