J.Crew creative director and all around girl crush Jenna Lyons has finally sold her 4,400-square-foot townhouse in Brooklyn’s Park Slope neighborhood. Lyons put the house on the market in November, just a month after it was revealed she and Vincent Mazeau, her husband of nine years, were getting a divorce. So, after six months on the market, just how much did Lyons’ home sell for?
It was listed at $3.75 million, but sold for an even $4 million, which is even more exciting considering Lyons and Mazeau purchased it for $1.3 million in 2004.
According to Curbed, the sale deed also lists Lyons new address as 60 Collister Street in Tribeca. The unit in question is known as the American Express Carriage House because, built in 1866, it originally held the stables for the credit company. And according to Streeteasy, it features 3 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, and totals a whopping 5,000 square feet. It apparently sold six months ago for just under $6 million.
In other words: not too shabby.
