The commercial stars Katrina Bowden (the blonde girl from 30 Rock) walking out of a Brooklyn brownstone sometime in the 1970s, wearing an appropriately high-waisted pair of Jordache jeans. Then all of a sudden you’re in the 80s, Katrina has big hair and her jeans are acidwashed and have ruffles. In the 90s, she finally manages to make it to her car, but everything except her jeans is completely devoid of color. (Yeah. The 90s were rough for all of us.)
Then finally, she steps out of her car into the present day. And what did we learn from this four-decade trip down sportswear’s memory lane? That Jordache will make so-so jeans for you, and that if you want them, you have to go to Wal Mart.
