Julianne Hough may have avoided any wardrobe malfunctions on the red carpet at last night’s Golden Globe Awards, choosing a frou frou Monique Lhuillier confection that, as far as we know, stayed put as she made her entrance. At the afterparty, however, Hough’s Jenny Packham number met a very different fate.
She arrived at the latter event in a sleek, pale pink, floor-length gown with silk panels at the sides and a plunging neckline. It was a pretty dress, no doubt about that, but the slim silhouette looked like it would be difficult to walk in, let alone dance. Hough, a dancer-turned-actress, showed off her moves nonetheless, and ended up splitting the seams of the gown all the way up to her upper thighs, posting photos of the aftermath on Instagram along with the captions:
Ummm I think I may have danced too hard…. Eeek!!!!
Ummm again… I love to dance regardless of how expensive a dress may be… You can’t hold me down!!! :)
At least the rips were in the front so she didn’t have a Sofia Vergara situation on the dance floor. And perhaps next time she’ll pick something a little more conducive to busting a move.

this is some kind of spaceship or something.
