$127,000 Worth Of Baubles Stolen From Julianne Moore’s Home

About $127,000 worth of jewelry has reportedly been stolen from Julianne Moore‘s home in New York City’s West Village.

According to the Associated Press, a complaint was filed on October 1, alleging that several pieces of jewelry were missing from Moore’s home. The New York Times reports that all ten of the missing pieces are by Cartier, while the New York Post claims three of the pieces are by other designers. Either way, that’s a hell of a lot of fine jewelry.

Moore and her husband Bart Freundlich were renovating their five-story brownstone over the summer, and had work done on the interiors and plumbing while 51-year-old actress spent part of the season in Toronto filming a Carrie remake. Sources told the Post that 15 to 25 workers were in and out of the home between June 6 and August 28.

There aren’t any security cameras inside Moore’s home, but there is one on the outside. The police are categorizing the case as grand larceny, but have been unable to find any evidence thus far, and haven’t made any arrests yet.
