While the rest of us are chomping at the bit to break out our sundresses and sandals, Kate Hudson went and made a compelling case for sweater dressing last night — nice timing, too, since the temps have decided to plummet on us again this week.
The actress stepped out for the Tribeca Film Festival Premiere of The Reluctant Fundamentalist in a white knit mock neck Jenny Packham dress with all-over beading that mimicked the look of a cable knit sweater. She paired the frock with Casadei pumps and a soft, wavy ‘do, for a ’70s Bond Girl effect.
Now, this is what we’d imagine ourselves wearing to a glam chalet fête after a day of hitting the slopes in Aspen, but we’ve got to hand it to Hudson for making it look just as good on an April night in NYC.
