The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are still in Canada and, true to form, Catherine (née Kate) is still wearing clothes. As if to help sate our appetites, she’s been changing twice a day, veering wildly dark denim jeans and Alexander McQueen sailor-inspired frocks, even cycling a new-to-us Danish designer into the mix.
To be fair, Kate has every reason to be so all over the (proverbial) sartorial map. In between smiling and waving all princess-like at the crowds, she’s been playing street hockey, crewing a dragonboat, paddling a canoe, and gazing nervously at raw hunks of caribou meat. In fact, our working headline for this post was “Kate Middleton Wears Jeans, Hoodie, Boat Shoes, And Fleece Pullover; Paddles Canoe, Smells Raw Caribou Meat, Plays Street Hockey” but for hopefully obvious reasons we had to scrap it. (We waffled briefly with “Kate Middleton Acts Out Every Canadian Cliche Possible In 48 Hour Period” but decided it wasn’t stylish enough.)
Anyway! Kate cycled through McQueen, Danish designer Malene Birger, and a pair of super dark wash J.Brands which she paired with boat shoes and a safari-esque button down one day and a decidedly utilitarian hoodie the next. Take a look at the last two days in Kate Middleton’s life (and closet) and let us know which look is your favorite. P.S. How cute is that last photo of Will and Kate playing street hockey?
this is some kind of spaceship or something.
