Despite the frenzy surrounding the publication of topless photos of Kate Middleton, taken while on holiday with Prince William in France last week, the pair continued their Diamond Jubilee tour in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and per usual, the Duchess chose two spectacular outfits.
For her first outing of the day, at the Assyakirin Mosque, Kate wore a custom Beulah dress and headscarf, and her fave L.K. Bennett platforms. The flowy dove-gray frock featured sheer sleeves, a self-tying belt, and covered buttons at the sleeves and down the bodice. We’ve seen Kate in one of Beulah’s creations before, and both of dresses have similar silhouettes and details. Kate certainly sticks to what works for her.
As is tradition and out of respect, Kate covered her luscious hair (which was pinned into an elegant updo) with a headscarf, and she and Will took off their shoes. Look, more pics of Kate’s feet!
A few publications have pointed out that Kate’s look is incredibly reminiscent of the late Princess Diana‘s ensemble when she visited an Egyptian mosque back in 1992. This could be purely coincidental, or totally on purpose, but either way, it was slightly haunting, but in a good way.
The duo then headed off to a tea party with Malaysian-Chinese shoe legend Jimmy Choo, where Kate wore a lace Temperly London Aster Flower dress with sheer sleeves, and added some pearl pins to her updo à la Chanel. She and Will drank some tea without raising their pinky fingers. Royals are just humans like us, after all.

this is some kind of spaceship or something.
