Kate Middleton and Prince William are definitely enjoying their Diamond Jubilee Tour throughout Asia and the South Pacific, despite the ongoing legal battle over those topless pics. Kate’s been wearing fancy designer duds, Wills took off his shoes, and today, the pair showed off their dance moves in the Polynesian island of Tuvalu.
Over the weekend, Kate and Wills were hopping around the Solomon Islands where they hung out with the locals, went on boats, and giggled over topless dancers. This morning, the pair flew into Marau for a welcoming ceremony in which Kate, dressed in a cute yellow eyelet frock by an independent dress maker and Stuart Weitzman wedge sandals, and Will, in a snazzy blue suit, were carried by locals from the dock to the plane. While Will wore sunnies and smiled, she went sans eyewear and clapped.
The pair then headed back to Honiara International Airport for their flight to Tuvalu. Once there, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were the stars of a welcoming ceremony in which they were carried by locals again. The life! Then Kate changed into a beige, floor-length dress with red embroidery, and added a traditional grass skirt and floral headpiece for her dancing debut. Will did the same, and the two performed in the traditional dance known as Fatele. After dancing, the pair were finally allowed to take in the island’s cuisine with a traditional dinner.
So, how were the Royals’ moves, and was Prince William’s performance in Tuvalu as great as his old-school Jay-Z jig? Find out:
this is some kind of spaceship or something.
