How fitting (?) that on the eve of London Fashion Week Net-a-Porter honors the world’s most beloved British supermodel by printing pictures of her perched precariously on some fake rocks in “spindly, pearl-encrusted Alexander McQueen heels.”
This week’s contemporary-artsy Edit is a bit light on the quote front — in the paltry cover-shoot article Mossy utters but one line — but the remaining 28 pages pen a prolonged love letter to the original ’90s waif, in which everything from her hair to her festival outfits to her gray skinny jeans are praised in reverent, possessive tone.
Basically, you’ve got some photographers saying a lot of nice things about how easy she was to work with and how timeless her face is, someone waxing poetic on how Kate’s style changed everyone’s lives (true) and Charlotte Tilbury talking about that one time she played favorites and did Kate’s makeup instead of Stella McCartney‘s.
A fun click-through for the end of the best, most exhausting 168 hours of our lives, and an even better kickoff to the comparatively relaxing rest of the month during which we can just sit here looking at pictures on our computers.
