Attention shoppers, Mossy x Topshop is back! Kate Moss will take up her design roll again for a collection — her first since 2010 — that will launch in April. While an official announcement hasn’t been made, WWD reports that the collaboration will be made up of about 40 styles. Moss has already gotten to work on the designs, spending a few days a week with Topshop’s creative director Kate Phelan, the in-house design team, and her stylist pal Katy England.
Moss told WWD:
“I have really missed being involved in the design process, and working with the team at Topshop. Now more than ever, with London being at the forefront of fashion…it feels like I’m back home working with Topshop.”
According to an industry source, Moss’ decision to go back into the designer’s studio was made when she and Topshop owner Sir Philip Green were on holiday in the South of France. The supermodel suggested is was the right time to return to the collaboration.
“The first time around was such a lot of fun, and she has been sorely missed,” Green told WWD.
While no further details about the collection has been released, we can already feel the masses buzzing.
