Has there ever been a model with quite as much crossover appeal as Kate Upton? She got her start on YouTube doing the Dougie at a Clippers game, made the bikini-clad rounds on the covers of GQ and Sports Illustrated, won Anna Wintour‘s approval and landed in Vogue, and is now coming full circle with a gig that should appeal to her original fan base: a role in a Super Bowl commercial for Mercedes-Benz.
According to Page Six, the spot will be “a tongue-in-cheek depiction of how far a person might — or might not — go to get their heart’s desire.”
Upton will play herself and, since she doesn’t have a driver’s license, will not be behind the wheel of the Benz she’s shilling. Usher, however, will reportedly guest star, so we expect he can take on the steering duties.
