PHOTO: Kate Upton Lands Her Second Vogue Cover

For those who are still skeptical about Kate Upton‘s foray into high-fashion, get this: she just snagged another Vogue cover, this time for British Vogue. This marks her second cover and third appearance in the mag, for those who are counting.

The cover image features Upton in a white dress, sporting soft blond curls and a nearly makeup-free look. It’s a big departure from her Vogue Italia cover, on which the 20-year-old works a fully made-up face, diamonds, and fur.

Alexandra Shulman writes in her editor’s letter:

“It’s very rare for a girl; to move from one area of the business to the other, largely due to the fact that fashion models are almost without curves, whereas swimwear girls are celebrated for them. When I decided to shoot Kate for our first cover of 2013, it was to kick off the year with a young women who is not a stereotypical fashion model — although, let’s face it, she’s hardly a heffalump!”

Indeed, she is not. The issue hits newsstands December 10, but check out the cover below:
