Kim Kardashian Gives Good Face On The Cover Of Haute Muse

Well, it was bound to happen sooner or later. Not content to spread the misery of her marital condition to North America, parts of Canada and Australia, Kim Kardashian is now on the cover of a Middle Eastern fashion magazine called Haute Muse.

Kardashian shot the cover and did the interview for the magazine on a recent, pre-divorce trip to Dubai, and in it she talks about everything from wanting to buy a house in Dubai to loving the people of the Middle East — even going so far as to say the region, where she had no choice but to cover up her curves with a burka, “feels like home.” (Sidebar: Haute Muse is owned by two members of the Qatari royal family, so of course the interview was going to be a little on the light, pro-Middle East side. We get that.)

If the quotes are a little weak, the cover is very, very strong — it’s one of the last professional images of Kardashian taken before she decided to break off her marriage from basketball player Kris Humphries. Is the steely look on her face the resolve of a woman who’s made a life-altering decision, or is Kardashian just a practiced model? Take a look at the cover, and tell us what you think.
