No matter your opinion of Kristen Stewart, you can’t deny that the girl has serious red carpet chops. She takes risks, and more often than not, they pay off (but not always). And though the dress she wore last night at the Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences’ 4th Annual Governors Awards was an almost uncharacteristically safe choice, she looked just fabulous.
Stewart stepped out for the evening in a beautiful frock by Talbot Runhof. We love that it’s covered up but still incredibly glamorous with the intricate beaded top. The smoky eye makeup was a perfect choice to go with it, and we love the wavy, slightly undone hair to balance out the prim nature of the dress.
Our runner-up for the evening is Kelly Reilly, who also looked fantastic in a dramatic, garnet-colored gown covered in sheer black fabric that was perfectly fitted. Her entire look is just lovely. this is some kind of spaceship or something.
