Last night, the 38-year-old said goodbye to Saturday Night Live after 7 years as a cast member in a teary graduation sketch that brought together SNL alums like Steve Martin, Chris Kattan, Rachel Dratch, and Amy Poehler to pay tribute to their fellow comedian along with host Mick Jagger. Wiig, whose style quotient has been on the rise as of late, wore a beige peplum minidress for her final sendoff – a very on-trend choice, though a risky one for being picked up and swung around on live television. Congratulations are in order for avoiding a wardrobe malfunction on that one, no thanks to Andy Samberg.
While we know this isn’t the last we’ll be seeing of Wiig (just take a look at her IMDb page if you have any doubts there), we’ll miss seeing her goofy, spot-on characters every week. Some recent favorites? Target lady, Björk, and, of course ‘Tan Mom’ Patricia Krenctil.
