It’s Christmas Eve — the day of miracles! — which is why, in between reading about Santa’s pied-a-terre on 22nd Street, you should know that Lady Gaga shopped at Bergdorf Goodman on Wednesday, in what became a beautiful culmination of a lifelong dream and a particular distate for pants.
Gaga, who was recently spotted in Paris wearing no pants and shopping for khakis, stopped by New York City’s Bergdorf Goodman on Fifth Avenue to pick up some goodies from Chanel and Hermes. The pantless one caused a bit of a stir among the store’s more clothed set — one shopper described the event as “the only thing big enough to draw eyes off of Hermes and Goyard bags.” And while perhaps this eyewitness was being a little tongue-in-cheek, the event was a milestone for Gaga. According to Page Six, she was overheard telling two male companions, “I waited my whole life to be able to afford coming in here.”
A noble dream. Congratulations, Gaga! May your holiday shopping bags be filled with pants.
