Anna Wintour’s memoir, Grace Coddington’s tell-all, and Kate Moss’ autobiography all sound great but no upcoming book (rumored or real) sounds as great as this: LADY GAGA, a collection of Terry Richardson’s never-before-seen pictures of Mother Monster, is set to be published this fall.
Richardson, who is friends with the singer and has photographed the star on several occasions, took over 100,000 shots of Gaga over a 10 month period, covering her arrival in an egg shell for the grammys, the recording of Born This Way, and her Monster Ball Tour.
The backstage shots sound great, but most exciting is that “nothing was off limits” and Richardson apparently snapped a lot of photos of Gag’s personal life. We’re excited for the 350 pics of Gaga that made it into the book but we also can’t wait to see Richardson’s photog skills outside the studio, which is undeniably his comfort zone. His photographs from Kate Moss’ wedding somehow maintained their Uncle Terry look, and we’re sure these ones will too. The book promises to show Gaga “as never before seen” and the star herself will write the forward. We have a feeling it’s going to be epic.
