Long before before Alber Elbaz turned the house of Lanvin into what it is today, there was founder Jeanne Lanvin. She was responsible for creating très feminine designs, and the house recently unearthed a video of the master at work.
In the vid below, we get to watch seamstresses sewing, Lanvin make adjustments on dresses inside her atelier at 22 Faubourg Saint Honoré, and ladies just being all sorts of chic in the designer’s creations. Ahh, the good ol’ days.
