Lena Dunham’s Vogue Cover is Finally Here

We all knew it was happening, and here it is: The Lena Dunham Vogue cover that Anna Wintour wined, dined, and wore giant furry murals to bring about. Since we already knew she’d be getting her body amputated let’s just focus on the other stuff: The shot, by Annie Leibovitz, is very beautiful, and the rumormongering has evidently caused quite the headache.

The accompanying spread is fairly awesome and features Dunham wearing a variety of strange and beautiful things, including a bird on her head, hairy yellow shoes and the Prada¬†dress that matches Anna’s custom¬†coat. Adam Driver is in it too, only this time it’s Lena he’s hoisted onto his shoulders instead of a mountain sheep. Congrats, Girl.
