When we think Nina Ricci, we think waking up in an all-white loft overlooking Paris with perfectly rumpled waist-length braids, then traipsing off into a blush-toned forest and picking an apple-shaped perfume bottle off of a pink tree. Oh, wait — that was just the French fashion house’s fragrance campaign.
Plagiaristic fantasies aside, we’re now one step closer to making our longtime flouncing-around-in-acres-of-tulle dreams come true with Nina Ricci’s Les Envies Spring 2014 collection.
According to WWD, the third edition of the capsule collection offers brand signatures at a lower price point (tops from $475 and $1,190 for coats), and features a largely black, white, and pink color palette, along with lace trim and rosebud and bird prints. The 50 pieces range from geometric-patterned coats and cropped pants, to matching top-and-shorts sets and flirty dresses (naturally). Now we just need those magically pastel-colored woods.
