With all of the drama surrounding magazine spreads that make little girls look like mature women, it’s refreshing to see a fashion mag feature an age-appropriate editorial. While Lindsey Wixson and Hailey Clauson are quite a bit older than the Vogue Paris kids, they are still only 16 and 15, respectively. Vogue China appears to understand that.
In a spread for the March issue, Willy Vanderperre photographed the teens in a way that cheekily (and appropriately) references their age. There are ponytails and schoolgirl socks, as well as skateboards and teddy bears. Yes, the pics indeed manage to meld high fashion with high school. (And they’re beautiful, too!)
Don’t believe these beauties are far less than legal? For reference, Lindsey told us she was skipping London Fashion Week for exams, and Hailey is the underage model who got Diane von Furstenberg‘s panties in a bunch.
this is some kind of spaceship or something.
