Liya Kebede and a Burning Rose Star in Prabal Gurung’s First Print Campaign

Marilyn Monroe and her peroxide blonde coiffure might have provided the inspiration for Prabal Gurung‘s swirly Spring 2014 collection, but there’s nary a lick of hair to be seen in the collection’s print campaign — which just so happens to be Gurung’s first-ever.

The ads were shot by Dan Jackson and feature backwardly aging multi-talentĀ Liya Kebede. She looks more Frida than Marilyn (or herself, for that matter), and stars alongside a burning rose. The rose is so arresting that it also gets to star in an video on Gurung’s Instagram feed, but Liya looks lovely too. Can winter just go away now?
