Any red carpet that plays host to Sharon Stone, Amanda Seyfreid, Joan Smalls, and Lou Reed will inevitably be one for the books. Case in point: The Lovelace premiere.
First off, Sharon Stone’s contouring, gold-studded white dress, as well as her searing hot physique deserve a good old-fashioned slow clap, as she managed to upstage her 28-years-younger co-star, Seyfried, with ease. This isn’t to say that we didn’t appreciate Ms. Linda Lovelace’s Givenchy Resort 2014 look, but considering she’s the film’s star, it was a bit humdrum.
On the other end of spectrum was Joan Smalls, who has officially beat out an Olympian and procured this season’s coveted tile of best crop top abs. Her Helmut Lang asymmetrical bra top paired with printed bright yellow Altuzarra high-waisted skirt showed off a midriff that literally has us sucking in behind our desk.
Lou Reed makes his appearance in crooked glasses and a murse, but lest you doubt the logic in his attendance, the Deep Throat biopic opens with his 1972 song, “Take a Walk on the Wild Side,” which, if you’re familiar with the lyrics, is not only suitable, but just kind of brilliant.
View the entire red carpet below, which also features appearances from a leather-clad Zosia Mamet, Zac Posen, and Derek Jeter’s rumored beau Hannah Davis (whose better known here in NYC as a dead girl walking).
