There are some times — well, a lot of times — that we wished we lived in France. This is one of them! Why? Because the folks over at Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessey are throwing open the doors of their ateliers, workshops, kitchens, and vineyards to the public.
On October 15 and 16 of this year, 22 of the conglomerate’s brands will welcome visitors to see where the magic happens in spots around France, as well as a handful in Italy, Spain, Scotland, and Poland. How cool?! Online reservations will be taken beginning later this month, though half of the spots will be left open for drop-ins.
As Bernard Arnault explains: “Products are one thing, but how they’re made, who makes them, and where is also of interest to the public.” We agree! As you’re probably aware, LVMH’s roster is beyond impressive. We’re not exactly sure which of the brands in its portfolio will be participating, but we hope Dior, Louis Vuitton, and Givenchy are involved, along with De Beers and every fancy champagne company they own (Moët & Chandon, Veuve Clicquot, and Dom Pérignon).
