Fans of Leandra Medine, rejoice! The blogger’s collection of essays, “Man Repeller: Seeking Love. Finding Overalls.” is now available for pre-order, which means you can peruse the blurb, read the words of praise it’s earned from industry bigwigs like Simon Doonan and Joan Rivers, and, perhaps best of all, get a look at the cover, upon which Medine wears (surprise!) a pair of dark denim dungarees.
Per the publisher’s description on Amazon and Medine’s own blog post on the subject, the book promises to “explore the deep connection between our memories and the sartorial choices associated with them” with the New Yorker’s “signature sass and blunt honesty.” Amongst those memories: the ankle socks she left on while losing her virginity, a magical pair of harem pants, and the “Inconsequential Big White Dress (And Organza Jacket)”, an item we’re already familiar with from her wedding snaps (let’s just hope she addresses those bedazzled bridal flatforms!)
Get a look at the cover below, and if this sounds like just the thing that’s missing from your book collection, pre-order a copy for the September 10 release date here:
