Marc Jacobs‘s ex-boyfriend Austin Armacost is giving everyone an eyeful in his upcoming ads for PETA. The ads were shot last week, and while the official pics haven’t yet been released, two behind-the-scenes images have.
The 24-year-old model and star of Logo’sThe A-List: New York tells PETA that his choice to strip down will hopefully convince designers to go fur-free. And he slams Jacobs along the way:
“As a gay model, I have always been dismayed that some otherwise progressive people in the gay fashion pack have such disregard for the animals who are skinned alive for coats, collars, or cuffs [including my ex Marc Jacobs].”
In the ads, Armacost is quite naked, and is holding a “Turn Your Back On Fur” sign in front of his nether regions. They’ll launch before New York Fashion Week in September, and will feature a “strategically placed” QR code that leads smartphone users to a Tim Gunn-narrated fur industry exposé.
And here are the ads — get ready for some buttcheeks:
this is some kind of spaceship or something.
