Last week, we posited that Marc Jacobs would be playing “a liberal blogger determined to expose the conspiracy behind Hillary Clinton’s scrunchie” in an unnamed movie. Now, thanks to the magic that is IMDB, we know that he has nabbed a role in the upcoming Disconnect, starring Jason Bateman, Alexander Skarsgard, Andrea Risenborough, Paula Patton, Hope Davis, and Michael Nyqvist, among others.

According to IMDB, Disconnect is an ensemble film “centered on a group of people searching for human connections in today’s wired world.”
A more in depth description, courtesy of Collider.com, reads:
Skarsgard is in line to play a former Marine who is emotionally cut off from his wife, causing him to seek out an affair. [Frank] Grillo will play a single father trying to protect his child from the dangers of the interwebs with Ford playing his son who deals with emotional pain by talking to another troubled teen online under the pretense of being a teen girl. [Michael] Nyqvist plays a man who Skarsgard and his wife suspect of taking their identity (Skarsgard apparently gets screwed double by the net), and Riseborough is eyeing the role of a TV reporter who seeks out a story about a young man who poses nude online when she becomes frustrated with her job.

No word yet on what Jacobs’ character will be, though we know it will be someone “not like [himself] at all,” which obviously and sadly rules out Muscle Marc.
