The Marc Jacobs Store In Soho Has Been Covered In Graffiti

A friend emailed us this morning about graffiti sprayed on the outside of Marc Jacobs‘s Mercer Street store in Soho. Since we work in the ‘hood, we stopped by and can confirm the store’s exterior was given a Schiaparelli pink makeover.

The word “ART” has been graffitied across the store’s black door and brick walls. A cleaning crew of four people were washing the paint away when we arrived. Part of the store’s floor was covered in cardboard, so paint from our shoes wouldn’t transfer when we walked in to talk to the staff (who, of course, weren’t allowed to comment).
