Last week, Marc Jacobs presented stylist and editor Katie Grand with WSJ. magazine’s “Fashion Innovator of the Year” award. And while congratulations are owed to Grand, it turns out Jacobs had some news of his own: he’s becoming an actor.
In town for a few days, [Jacobs] has a weekend Halloween party on his schedule, but he was most jazzed about a completely new project. “I got cast in a role in a movie,” Jacobs told Style.com. “They’re filming next week and I’m excited. I get to play a character that’s not myself at all.”
Things that are not at all like Marc Jacobs:
- A recovering alcoholic astronaut, desperate for one last galactic trip.
- A liberal blogger determined to expose the conspiracy behind Hillary Clinton’s scrunchie.
- A hipster dog walker who secretly videotapes his canine clients.
- An aspiring actor who dreams of one day playing Queen Elizabeth II.
Any other guesses?
