There’s the discussion of the twins’ child stardom and the founding of Dualstar. There’s that bit about how their interest in fashion (and obsession with fit and quality) comes from wearing designer clothes cut to size when they were kids. There’s an overview of their work with The Row, Elizabeth & James, Olsenboye, and StyleMint. There’s talk about their diminutive size, and Ashley’s classic style versus Mary-Kate’s edgier look. There’s mention of their little sister Elizabeth, who is the only Olsen girl really interested in acting these days. Yeah, yeah, we’ve heard it all before.
We did learn a few things though. Bags are next up for Elizabeth & James, right on the heels of The Row’s bag launch. They intend to design shoes and menswear for The Row at some point, and they want to open up brick-and-mortar stores. And as expected, they plan to work together forever, and even now spend more time together than apart.
Also, we’re proud to report Full House is still enjoyed by a new generation of little girls. Explains Ashley:
“Four- and five-year-old kids come up to us and they’re like, ‘I don’t understand, because you’re so big now, and I watch you on Full House and you’re a baby!’”
We hope they’ve seen these videos, as well. Check out the Telegraph cover below. We like its simplicity, but Mary-Kate’s face looks a little weird, no?
