Megan Fox gets hotter with each new cover and photo shoot she does. And it seems like the more famous she gets, the more high fashion photographers and stylists make her. Gone are the days where Megan wore tube tops and spent too much time at the tanning salon, and here to stay (we hope) is a more natural skin tone — she told Tranformers‘ director Michael Bay that tanning is “not going to happen again because of the damage and the possible skin cancer” — and better clothing.
In Allure’s June issue, Fox admits to having a unibrow in elementary school:
“I remember having that unibrow, which I always hated. I used to beg my mother to let me pluck my eyebrows.”
She denies rumors of surgically enhanced lips (though we’ll admit, we’re not sure…):
“I will say for people who question the authenticity of my lips, you can clearly see that my lips are my lips.”
She discusses her hatred of public bathrooms:
“Every time someone uses a bathroom and they flush, all the bacteria is shot into the air. Putting my mouth where a million other mouths have been, just knowing all the bacteria that you carry in your mouth? Ucch!”
And makes the following admission:
“I could go days, weeks, without talking to another human being. I hate receiving compliments. I hate being told I’m talented or people think I’m going to be a movie star. I always feel that it’s forced or fake.”
Regardless of some of her odd habits, she looks abosolutely breathtaking — not just hot — in her spread, which features clothing from Donna Karan and See by Chloé, among others.
Makeup artist Virginia Young did a brilliant job on what could be called an already perfect canvas. “Megan usually has bronzed skin and smoky eyes,” Young told Allure. In this instance, “I played down her sexiness and made her more fresh.”
Creative director Paul Cavaco’s intention was to channel the 1979 movie Tess starring Nastassja Kinski, who was innocent and barefaced throughout the film. Fox’s natural beauty shines through in each shot with her accented freckles and wavy hair. She looks relaxed, toned down, and comfortable: a beautiful adjustment from the bombshell vixen box in which Hollywood has placed her.
