We are starting to get pretty tired of movie remakes. (The new “Footloose”? Totally losing its charm.) But we don’t mind it at all that a group of pretty creative guys have re-imagined some of our favorite movie posters with a nod to the garments that played their own central roles.
Everyguyed, a network of men’s style advice and fashion blogs based in Canada, got a first look at a set of ten posters being sold by Moxy Creative called “Dress the Part.” The designers James Mathers and Alexander Mau took a little piece of fashion iconography from movies like “Anchorman”, “American Psycho” and “Shaun of the Dead,” among others, and made it the focus of the posters.
We haven’t seen such a good-looking marriage of fashion and film since “The September Issue.” We’ve featured our favorites from the series below, but you can see all of them at Everyguyed, and they’re available for purchase at Moxy Creative.
this is some kind of spaceship or something.
