Vogue Looks At The Met’s Punk Exhibit And Gala By The Numbers

You probably didn’t know this, but all summer there was this little exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City called Punk: Chaos to Couture. And last may there was this little gala you probably heard nothing about and a bunch of celebrities were there in weird outfits.

Not the summer of Punk has officially come to a close now, and the exhibit is no more. But while it lasted, it was certainly a hit. Not only will we have Sarah Jessica Parker‘s mohawk forever etched on our brains, but the actual exhibit was an enormous success. To commemorate its closing, Vogue has put together the infographic below, that explores all the numbers of the exhibit and the gala, from the number of visitors (almost half a million in a mere four months) to the number of champagne bottles served at the Gala.

Now, even if you missed the exhibit, you’ll still know all the vital facts about one of fashion’s most talked about exhibits in recent history. Thanks, Vogue!
